  • Neutral oil for frying (canola or peanut)

Instructions:

  1. Cut the potatoes into thin fries and soak in cold water for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Drain and pat dry thoroughly.

  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.

  4. Fry in batches until golden brown and crisp, about 3–4 minutes per batch.

  5. Drain on paper towels.
